I want to make a Melee Mod for Dark Crusade, and i was wondering how to delete stuff on Corsix mod studio, can i still use this? or do i have to get attribute editor?
When I delete stuff that I modded on Corsix, I just go to the actual file and delete it in Windows.

There is a little harder, but more sensible way of going about this. When in Corsix's, goto: Data\attrib\ebps\races\[RACE]\troops\[UNIT/SQUAD] Then find the combat_ext, select hardpoints, and when the hardpoints are opened up, select the weapon_table, and when the the weapon_01(02,03...) are opened up, they will list the weapons. Usually, hardpoint_01 is for the ranged weapons, and hardpoint_02 is the close combat weapons. Usually, so always double check. Anyway, when in the weapon_01 etc. are opened, select the name_for_this_weapon_choice amd erase the name. Where it says weapon right under origin, delete what it says in there. Make sure you are deleting a ranged weapon before you delete anything else. I haven't exactly tested this myself... so there will undoubtably be errors, such as infantry standing still when you tell them to attack, but this could be fixed by changing it so that they assault when you tell them to attack (cant remember the name of the button). Anyway, I hope this helps a little, and if you do find errors, feel free to tell me, as I may know a solution.

Problem! I did what you said to the tactical bolter team, and in game, they were equipped with heavy bolters and a flag, and didn't have any animations unless they were fighting in melee, so i went back on to the weapons table and moved the knife were the bolter was, and copied everything exactly, then deleted the entry for the knife, now it wont open anymore. help please!
so what exactly are you trying to do? From my best guess, you're trying to make tactical marines melee-only?
Oh it branches out a bit from that. I will be releasing news about this mod soon, as soon as i get the space marines finished.
