no not really. my old laptop died this summer it had xp and made my modifications and i was all happy blah blah blah. then it died and i got vista on this new baby eating computer (not really but it was a really good deal) so i'm back to editing and i wanted my favorite type of rts - Massive battles. so i change the attributes to what i had, increasing it further because of meh comp, and what happens? oh i click save 17 phucking times and vista still doesn't save it. Nor does it recognize mods. Anyone else experience this? because i'm getting fed up with this...

Vistas not the greatest operrator for modding games, i got a new computer with it.

I'd suggest you check everything before blaming vista, even though its poberly the problem.

Doese it give you an error when you try to save it?

And what do you mean dont recognise mods?. a mod is a text file which is the module and a folder with sub folders and files that only certian programs recognise.

This may work, not sure. I run Vista and it has a security programme called UAC (NO not the one from 'Doom 3') You can find this in the security screen on Control Panel. Deactivate it and it should allow you to Mod your games. Hope this helps. Also remember that if your running Vista 64bit all your installed programmes are under 'programmes (x64) or (x86)' and not in 'programmes'. BTW I've been running Vista for a year now and I wouldn't go back to XP. What's that you say? 'BURN THE HERETIC!'
