ok this would probably solve all my problems and help me from having to go onto the problem board for everything, before you yell and kill me, yes i am a noob at modding and have never done this before, so when i download a mod, stupid me doesnt know where to put it, yes i do read the readmes so dont kill me for that either, its just when i open up the folder to look for where to put it, all i see is the damn short cut and unistall button, where are the folders i am suppose to be looking for? T_T is it because i got the platinum edition that its screwing me over?

i really dont understand what your trying to say to be honest. The file you downloaded should have a folder named after the mod and a module just put it into the dawn of war directory.

which will be C:/programfiles/thq/(whatever dawn of war series the mod is for). And run the game and activate in the game manager.

if it has its own exe then it will install itself

Also try to space out your sentances so it is much easyier to read.

Oh skins arnt classed as a mod to me there just classed as a skin, you would need to put it into, w40k/data/art/ebps/races/space_marines/troops. And they should work.

Yes i can, dont worry im here to help along with other people, i think you would have to create all the folders from the 'data to the texture_share' in this w40k/data/art/ebps/races/space_marines/texture_share.

the depth of heresy mod gpose into the dawn of war folder(whichever series the mod is for) Al that should be in the readme that is SOPPOSED to be supplied with it but some dont......

Right you have to create the folders. Go to your dark crusade folder then into w40k make a data folder if there is already one there then go into that one then create the folder art then nother called ebps then, races then (whichever race the skin is for) then texture_share. just create all thoose folders and your done i dont know if it can get much simplier

ok, let me get this straight, i go to the dark crusade folder then create a folder named art, then a folder named ebps, then a folder named races, then a folder named space marines, then a folder called texture_share then put the salamander skin folder in that?
