Well, if i was you i would get a second oppinion before rushing out and buying something.. I'm not a genius at putting together pc's but from the looks of it you maybe have to think of buying a new one... don't know if it would work just to buy a new motherboard.. but the hardisk, the ram and maybe the graphics card is worth holding on too. But seriously talk to a friend or go down to local electronic store and talk to someone who knows about this stuff, don't take my word for it.. i could be wrong.

roadkill, I believe the problem is your processor. You have a AMD 1900, that would be running at 1.8? 1.9? On the back of the DC case, it says 2.0.

That makes sense, My uncle said that it's running at a lower speed than it should and that he could change it in the bios hopefully. But if i get it fixed and it's running at 2.0 would that solve my problem.

Thanks for the help! I'll look into it and get back to you

Cheers

The amd 1900 runs at 1.6ghz as far as i know, and i'm also pretty sure it's not possible to tweak or change it in any way.

I somehow doubt that you'll be able to get an AMD 1900+ to run at 2.0ghz. Actually no, you wouldn't. The most you could get it running at would probably be 1.9 along with a few problems with your PC. A new processor for you I think :nodding:
