Hi! I have a minor problem in DoW, and DoW:WA. The terrain texures sometimes vibrate, and flash, while I'm scrolling in fog of war, and there are some elements which do the same on dicovered land. Eg.:WA, Order, Lev 2, before switching to Eldar, in the canyon whre the mines are, the white bridges do that. I can bear this problem, but sometimes it can get pretty annoying. i own a Dell Vostro 1510 notebook, with a GF 8400 GS M, Core 2 2000 Mhz, with 2 gigs of memory. Game is patched till 1.41, I havent tried, Dark crusade, or Soulstorm yet. Can anyone help? Thanks: Empi

This has happened to me. From what i do, if you restart your computer it should work but if it continues it means your video card is "shot" and needs to be replaced.

Trojans from from "certain" sites can destroy videocards....

Might be your video settings ingame, if its on low or meduim they somtimes do that. it also happens when your computer hasnt got anougt memory so runs the texture slow. also happens at what hieght the camra is at if you zoomk in close its ok if you zoom out it just vibrates and is cut. but kendall might be right to.

well for one I'd make sure you have the newest drivers for all your hardware including soundcard and motherboard. It can actually sometimes effect graphics as well.

Secondly, try different texture settings in game options. See if it does this on all of them.

And lastly try to find some free hardware scanner on the internet if you can find one. It is possible that you might have an erronous pipeline in it. And the ultimate test always of course is a full reformat of your pc. THere's a chance something is messed in the shell or registers.
