I've downloaded a few maps from dawnofwar.filefront.com and they all seem to be working fine - xcept for one minor detail. I've played the maps and some have this weird problem that some decals (i think they are decals) appear as big purple-pink question marks on the map. For example I downloaded this map for DoW DC called Imperial_Fortress. The map is full of pink question marks and i dunno how to fix this problem. If any1's got any idea how to fix this I'd be really grateful if they could tell me ^_^ And thanks in advance to any1 who answers this post.

Oh?? That means the maps you downloaded have custom decals. search the utilities section of Dowfiles as most of the custom decals are displayed there.

It would help if you mention these maps you downloaded as some map makers have included their own custom decals. try and look for a folder named decals along with the map you downloaded if it's there then copy paste it into your Data/art/Decals folder hope this helps buddy..

Well I've tried to do as yoiu've said. Those maps were all for DC - and thats the game I've got. Anyways, I searched for any decals that could've been added tpo the files and the crux of the problem is that they weren't there. I also tried to download some custom decals from the utilities menu, but I never managed to get them to work. I've pasted 'em both in the DX2P folder and the W40k folders - doesnt seem to work though......

You see that dxp2 folder?? click it and you will see a folder labeled data go inside it and youl find a folder named art then click it again to see a folder named Decals this is where you need to put your custom decals just remember to copy paste the custom decal folder into it, For example the folder for the custom decal is named wasturr's decal just copy paste it into the decal folder.
