I downloaded the Dark Crusade 1.11 patch to be able to upgrade to 1.2, right? So here's my problem. When I'm about to install the 1.11 patch nothing happened >_> The "Patching in progress..." were visible for a good 1 hour without filling out the progress bar. I thought "Hey! The patches for Dawn of War Original and Winter Assault were a bit slow, so maybe these are too." What the hell is wrong with these things? Is it supposed to take 43275243856 hours before the damn thing actually STARTS to patch? I tried to re-install the game 3 times. No difference. Then I thoughts; "*Sigh*. I might as well go to bed while this **** is going on...". So I did. When I woke up and had my hopes up for the patch being finished... disappointment. The freakin' "Patching in progress..." were still visible, although no progress bar filled up... not even ONE friggin 1%, and then I had been asleep for 8 freakin' hours! Can someone PLEASE tell me if it's supposed to be this way? 'Cause if it is... I'm never patching DoW EVER again.

You can always try and download the various patches from dowfiles.com and install them from your desktop rather than the actual patching online process. You will need to download it though so does take a little while.

I've had no probs running whatsoever on my comp. heck, I've had DC since the release. And since then I've been able to play STALKER, WoW, Doom3 and I dont know what else on my current HW. I just hate it. Another guy seemed to have the same problem that I have though. *sigh* I'll follow his thread and see what happens

I meant 1.1. I have that and 1.2. I just find it weird. I wish they could just make a retail patch from 1.0 to 1.2... I don't know if that should do it, but maybe >_> *sigh* I'll try and re-install Windows soon, cause this is really annoying the shit out of me *nodnod* ^^

it's probably because thearchives that have to be unpacked are far larger in dc

the patch requires at least 2gb of workspace
