I've recently bought Soulstorm and was looking forward to playing it, regardless of the mixed reviews I've seen for it. Here's the problem. It doesn't install. Not only that, but the disc doesn't even load so that autorun can get going. This is the only problematic disc I have, as all other CD and DVD discs work on my drive, yet the disc autoran on my friend's machine! I've looked over at the Relic forums, and seen only a couple of other people with the same problem as myself. This problem seems well known of, and yet I've been unable to find any solutions for this problem. If anyone on these here forums knows of any solutions, I implore you to please lend aid to someone in dire need!

Unfortunately, the disc doesn't load. It doesn't even register as though there is a disc inserted, even if I try to use the explore function. The Autoplay function does not appear in the right-click menu.
Update: This problem seems to have been solved.
I just swapped back to my previous DVD drive. The only difference is that the previous (and currently in my machine again) DVD drive is that it's not a DVD-Rewrightable drive.
For all I know, it could simply be something that simple..... not that it really should be, but it appears to be so.

Uhm, I sure hope both of you have original versions of the games. Also, ray, how did you create a dvd image, when it didn't register...

Mine is most certainly, 100% legit, bought and paid for. Like my soul:lol:
As for "someone" using Daemon Tools..... *cough* Torrent *cough* Or possibly using an image created on someone else's machine, or a second machine in general.
