I know this might sound weird and all but...I was wondering if anyone knew how to "down-patch" i.e. downgrading from version 1.51 to 1.30...

Thing is...I only started playin' DoW recently and have updated fully to 1.51...

Then I found this mod on dawnofwar.filefront.com that i wanted to try out...but it could only work on version 1.3...

Any help on this would be great...

Uninstall and reinstall could easily do it, it's not to much work and could be done in the same time it takes to make this post, unless for some reason you no longer have the CD's, for SOME reason :P

Yes you need to uninstall the whole thing and patch it up to 1.30 again question is why??? most of the 1.30 mods for dow are already available for dc or will be out soon, Plus you lose the option of starting the game without the use of the cd.

you can download patch 1.3 from dowfiles.com and as far as I am aware it will install this patch again, overwriting the latest one. I think that there is a MOD manager as such which always you to activate patches and mods only when you wish to use them. Have a look on dowfiles.com and have a peek.

no ,the patch installs itself only on top of an older parch. And the mod manager can only switch between.
