So, you basically want to transfer the entire EF1 into EF2 because EF2 looks better, right? In theory, it's possible, but definitely not simple. You'd need a group of skilled modders to remake the whole EF1 using the EF2 engine. Even if you find mappers, coders, scripters, etc. who would be willing to do that, it would still take them tremendous amount of time to make it so. =p You would also need to port some of the EF1 assets to EF2 (sounds and music, for example) which would be illegal without the explicit permission from Raven Software.
E: I have the PK3 files in one of EF EF 2 Copies of the reports an error but the game CM_Load Map: maps/voy1.bsp has wrong version number (46 Could be 20)

Ofcourse you get an error when you try to load EF1 map in EF2. It doesn't work that simple. EF1 and EF2 use different engines. Therefore, their maps are incompatible. All maps would need to be remade from scratch using the Uber Radiant mapping program for the EF2 to load and use them properly.

I don't understand. What do you mean by "I'm in EF while two never worked but in some other games"? Do you mean you've done some modding for EF1 and some other games, but not for EF2?

Illegal = Illegal if you do not have permission from Raven.
1. the scale of the levels is different, you'd need to edit them when porting(illegal) them 2. textures need to be converted to reuse(illegal) in ef2 3. the level scripts need to be rewritten completely, there is no tool to port them. 4. the models need to be converted to be ported(illegal) 5. the models need to have tiki files wich you would need to ask GSIO or FHL34 or EXIT or (um what was that name again...?). 6. You need to write your own AI
I think that is a hell lot of effort to invest in a genre and a game which is even more as just virtually dead.

Yeah and it's quite unlikely they would give this permission to anyone.

Don't count on my then ... I had enough of them already 13 ... lol :rofl: Anyway Ritual included some really well documented exaples in the pk3s ... that's what they did for most of file types their modified engine uses.
