I've googled my butt off, and all I can find is a copy for $65, which I can't afford at the moment. Anyone have any ideas?

If you're asking for a place to download it from, I don't know any. Plus, that would be illegal and as such is not allowed to be discussed here. Fortunately, Amazon.com and eBay are your friends:

Amazon.com: Star Trek Elite Force 2: Video Games

Star Trek Elite Force 2 items - Get great deals on Software items on eBay.com!

Hey I just winked :p I saw the Amazon one, but 50 bucks!? What the hay? Is it really that good? On a brighter side, now I know to hang on to all my old games haha, in 20 years, they'll be worth something haha. Thanks for the Ebay link, I'll keep an eye out there. Maybe someone will sell one for a bit cheaper.

That's a matter of an opinion. Personally, I consider EF1 to be much better than EF2, but I know there are people here who disagree with me. In any case, it's not how much the game is worth today. It's how much it's worth to it's current owner. Plus, it's Star Trek. And everything with a Star Trek name on it has always been and will always be highly valued among the fans. I wouldn't count on it, but good luck anyway.

I've never played EF2, maybe there's a demo, I've heard that it isn't as good, but I got curious. Thanks :D

Ya, there's a demo version avaible. If you feel like downloading, here you go:

http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/Star_Trek_Elite_Force_II_SP_Demo;13445

Give it a try and make your own opinion about the game. Who knows, you might like it better than the first part.

I'd suggest you buy it on Amazon Germany or somewhere from a German shop, they have more reasonable prices here than they got in the States...

There is a Mod that allows you to have the game in English or German dialogues and text (complete translation like Original Copy of DE/EN). German - English Dual Compatibility Languagepack addon - HaZardModding Coop Script Mod Mod for Star Trek: Elite Force II - Mod DB

You can also buy a used copy, you don't have to worry about the CD-Key being in use, the game is hardly played on-line these days.

First part was more inventive, had a more fancy gameplay. EF2 has more enemies bigger levels and also a significant longer playtime.
