I already posted this in the big modeling/skinning resource blah blah blah but I dunno how alive that thread is so I'm gonna repost here.

How do I import .glm files with 3DsMax 5? And if there's a import plugin would you be so kind as to tell me where? Pweeze Fwiends? ;)

Try using milkshape import-export abilities (it's freeware)

I searched google for a 3DsMax .glm importer and found it fine. I typed this in the search engine: 3DsMax glm importer , it should work

To import a glm to 3DS MAX u need (thats what i do) to: 1.Import the glm in Milkshape 2.Export it as a .3ds 3.Import it with 3ds max ------------------------------------------------- Tutorials and other misc files here:

I don't know where you get your Milkshape from, because is it shareware, not freeware. Has only a 30 trial period on it, then it becomes useless.

One good thing tho, you can still import a .glm file into it, and still export it to md3 at least. Though after the trial period, you cannot export anything else. Milkshape is a good program, but gmax is better, and 3DS, well, it goes without saying it is the best.

try here There you'll find max plugins,i don't know is there glm for 3dsmax5.
