Ive never actually changed the saber, but ive looked at some sword mods, and heres what i think you should do to get the sword sounds to work. replace all the saber sounds with the sword sounds... all of them. Make sure its in the right directorys and everything, same name, etc... so when someone loads your mod, it looks like a sword, and sounds like a sword. If they want to play just normal JKII, its a saber.

Use modview to look at all the anims, until you find it.

how come whenever I have an NPC attack a function breakable during a cutscene it crash?
just give them the animation like there fighting and break the brush using a script, thats what i did in the jk2 movie when kyle swung his saber and hit those vents and they broke.
