Allright, I've been tinkering with altering the Suriken MOD to work with the boltcaster to make a 'crossbow'. It makes for a stealthier weapon, not being able to easily trace back where the shots come from. Now, originaly the 'bolts' would stick to the walls, as you can see here:

That was cool, untill you realise the massive framerate hit, those bolts are models and having them stuck to the wall really ate up memory. So what I've done is make the bolts 'explode' on contact. No extra damage just a 'boom' effect. The alt fire is cool with little booms going off, it would really confuse an attacker.

Anywho, here's a beta version, I'll probably be tweeking it before I release my MOD.

Is there a way that you can make them stick in the walls and then disappear after 5 or 10 seconds? That would be REALLY cool. :agreed:

:( No.

Well... actualy yea, that was tandard with the Shuriken MOD, but like I siad there was a MASSIVE slowdown of the computer. For example the barfight felt like I was running it on a 486...

I may see if I can make it last a split-second, just enough for you to apreciate it being on the wall and not in your head. I don't know how to code though so no promises. I'm pretty sure I can tinker with efx files with notepad.
