i'm using milkshape 1.6.2 and having trouble with animation, all the tutorials i find say that you assign the vertices to the coresponding bones, which seems to make sense.......

.......but in this version i've got joints?!? anyone know which end of the bone to assign the vertices too?(which joint?) do you assign, say the arm, to the shoulder joint, the elbow joint, or both?

not that familiar with milkshape but check the player model tut that came with radiant, it explains basically which parts of the body are weighted to which parts of the skeleton
