I've been a modeler for a while, so I'm no noob. I haven't done any work in .glm, however. So, I started this thread as a opinionative discussion on which programs I should use for A. Modeling B. Weighting/UV Mapping/Etc. C. Most impotrantly, what to use for animation (Creating movements, face anim, emotes, etc.) D. What to use for exporting any other format (md3, 3ds, etc.) to glm?

Thank you.

Gmax or 3Dmax! They are very good! But if you want to model a character you have to use 3Dmax.

You can supposedely do animations in 3dsmax and Gmax, but I'm not sure how. There's an "anim" button on the lower right, but I'm too scared to click it O_o
