ok, i do a bsp fullvis for my map and it completes after a few minits or so, but in game it says it couldnt find the .bsp, i looked in gamedata/base/maps and there is no bsp file for my map, there is

.map .bak .prt

but no .bsp

can any1 help ?

Try reading exactly what happens when it bsp's

If it says could not find bsp file then it's probebly because it has been told to include something but it cannot find it, It happend to me and i found out it was the textures but i still have not corrected it.

What i mean is all of the text that is possible to be read when it bsp's reed it and if theres a bit where it says:

filename.bsp could not be found

Then that is why i found out it was a texture error i loaded some ages ago to another map now they have to be there to load it but i don't know if my map will ever work again anyway good luck.

When i saw that error somewhere near it, It had the texture error that it could also not load so check your textures make sure there in the right directory.

im new to mapping, allthough ive made a simple/small duel map b4, so im not too good with the compilcated stuff, so here goes, this is what it says in the bar at the bottom

mmmm...... See in the .arena file, see what you caled the map. It looks somthing like this:

{ map "ffa_mapname" longname "ffa_mapname" type "ffa duel" }

make sure that the line 'map "ffa_mapname" has the same name as you .bsp file.

so if your mapname (the 'map "ffa_mapname" line) is "ffa_mapname" your .bsp file most be named ffa_mapname.bsp

sorry! your map is a duel map,right the it looks like this in the .arena file I think

{ map "duel_mapname" longname "duel_mapname" type "duel" }

replace all that I sed abut "ffa" wiht "duel" ok

I was right it got the exact same error as i did it said:
