Hi

I have a little problem with a map i am working on. I have been working on it a little while and it went great, but all of a sudden i can't change anything anymore.

If i do something in the map in Radiant like put a new building up or removing a building or something like that, i save the map, bsp full vis it so i have a .bsp file, i pt that file in the .pk3 file i have for the map (i also tryed to jus make a new .pk3 file. but when i load up the map in JK2 its exacly the same from before i changegd it.

so lets say, if the ground is now blue. i change it to red. save and bsp it load it in JK and the floor is still blue.

I eaven tryed it on my laptop, there it does the same thing.

This is the first time i have a problem like this.

I hope anyone out there has the anser on how to solve this.

please help...

I think i've already had a problem quite similar, but it was about lights on my map... whatever i changed, the light was the default 100% on every brushes, and when i bdped, the time run to compile was awfully short (yes, i said awfully short), the .bsp size was awfully small (no, i'm not sadomaso) but other changes worked.

in my opinion, i think i did something like involontarily putting a "light" key in the worldspawn, which crashed my map... since then, i've reinstalled radiant and begun a new map being carefully to what i edited in the entity editor.

so, have a look on the attributes of your worldspawn, or be carefull of not having created a "worldspawn" brush...

hoping it could help u... :uhm:

ciao

I know what probably the prob is. It doesnt overwrite/create the bsp file. Check your junk.txt in your Gtk/JK2 radiant under bsp and where it says something like max_windings_exeeded or something with some numbers next to it. At these location u need to simply the walls or something. To search to it, go to radaint, and the bottom/left page u see something like x: ***y: *** z: ***. The first number right after your max_points thing are the x coords, there is a space, after that the y coors and so on, use that to find where u need to simply your map, or use Q3map2 simulate old style, i've never had probs with that!

So he can't find the images for the moon and skie and stuff, but i have no idea why he can't find them. and can this be the problem for not showing any of the changes?

I hope you understand any of this :-)
