WooAAH! I have been an evil bugger and got hold of the code required for cloaking like the shadowtrooper does. :) :) :)

The only issue I have is I can't bind the shaders and effects to the skin i have made.

How do i do this? Does it have something to do with the model.glm file? All i need to understand is how the shadowtrooper bot in SP mode calls the effects and shaders.

Can anyone help?

Crap, i was hoping coding was not required! Ohh well, never mind.

Tell me, who nows how to switch an effect or shader on and off?

Right, i have now created my own skin that cloaks in SP mode.

I have figured that classing your model as a 'shadowtrooper' in npcs.cfg allows your character to cloak in SP mode.

However MP mode does not use npcs.cfg so how do you class a bot or a skin as another class (if that makes sense)

Anyone know?

Yes I was about to suggest doing that. I don't know how you could do it for a payer character though. The trick would be making some switch that would turn it off and on. although I believe you can take the shader and make a skin always be cloaked in MP.
