I'm working on a Matrix style map incorperating as many elements as I can from the first film. The Jump Program part will be one of them...
Anyway, I've made a big open space and put my first skyscraper in it (actually did other way round, put skyscraper in then put box around area)
I was having some "bright light" issues so I one by one removed the light sources.... My map now has NO lights at all but it is still bright as hell  The only thing I can think of is the bsp part isn't over writing old one... BUT I changed some details in teh map and that changed when tested so thats theory out window.
Try change the texture of the WHITE WALLS
I can't see that making a difference textures don't give off light do they and since there is NO light ents in the room at all then it isn't like its reflecting off the white is it?
Well sometimes them type of textures make everything bright :S
well I made a quick similar map to yours, and I dont seem to have any lighting probs why dont you just start over?

i can't help u and maybe this is just spamm, but i#m glad u're using my skin :-)
Tried a new map but still same thing I made it without lights but I STILL have a brightly lit map
Could the shear size of it be a cause?
Will try just a room a sec and see if I'm getting similar happenings
Small room is fine, no lights and it is dark so whats up with HUGE room?!

1)Verry light textures can make it light but not far to light.
2)delete the file that stores the lights in then bsp it and it will remake the file.
3)goto file new and load your map into it then save it as another map and it will make all of the files including the one that stores the lights in. (3 does the same as 2)
