I've made a Darth Malak multiplayer model, i've sent it in to jk2files.com but it's not up yet so I will give people a link to it from my website Darth Malak. It also supports bots and teams.

Yes, they are from the game, but they aren't the same format. I brought them into Premiere and exported them to the format that JK uses. They work in my media player.

I had the same issue when I editied the Jolee Bindo skin, a reskin made for myself.... anyways... the trick I used is a simple program called 3d Mp3 Recorder. YOu can find it at Download.com. You have to get the game started, aswell as the program, and have it set so it's the Output that is recorded... don't use a Mic to record out of your speakers, it will sound crap!

Next, when a charecter you want to use sound of talks, press Alt+Tab and start recording, wait a second or 2, so it's really started, and go back in game... let the guy/gal talk and when you have enough, go back windows again and stop the recording. Then. save the file and open it back with Windows Recorder, remove the silent/unwanted parts and change the Sound format so it's in 44kHz or less... or Jk2 won't use them. That's what i did...

check the result here : www.folhadesign.com/axem/axem.zip Reskin from Vos Desu, sounds and ideas from Axem Keigoku (me :D)

(Note: the 3d Mp3 Record from DL.com is a demo, you can record a max of 60 secs at a time.)

nm, i got it to work, great model man, when i first used it i just felt like i had to change my name to darth something, this model felt so good inside, when my first opponent came to me, i was filled with excitment, i drew my saber to notice that the stance is like a half circle off! if i were u i would definately fix that before posting it on jk3files.com, hire a modeler to fix it if u cant, cause IMO no one is gonna use that skin with that major saber stance rotation difference :micro:

I'm done with this model, there is a much better one at lucasforums being made so if you want one now then you can get mine, but I would probably wait for the good one. Now I'm going to work on a Darth Revan model which will be much better.
