Alright. I use JK2Radiant and I was working on my first actual unaided map, well actually a part of a map for my friend Striker. I made several columns using a simple 4 bevels each (I had not yet noticed the curve->cylinder opion.) Unfortunately, something went wrong and all my columns were deleted. After recovering from the frustration I began my work again, only to realize that every time I made a type of curve and deselected it, it would vanish! I remade my map substituting 6-sided columns for my cylindrical ones and sent what I had off to striker to look at. As soon as he looked at it he asked me why the hell I had bevels all over the place!
Can anyone tell me what may have happened? Is there an option I may have toggled that wont let you see curves?
I'm too cool to Post

go to veiw then filters and check to make sure patchs are not filtered out, also, when using patchs ( curves etc ) u can only see em from one side, the other side is a basic mesh which is very hard to see, try pressing ctrl and I with the curve selected to flip the textures onto the other side.
I'll try checking that filter. I know they're kinda hard to see from one side, thats why I was surprised to see them neither on the 3d view nor the 2d view.
it worked!! WOAH!! tons of curves I didnt think were made.. lol Thanks a bunch, stop by the JK2files server some time =)
