You already know the file directory from looking at them. Best if it's .mp3 format Make sure the sounds.cfg in the models/players/modelname is going to the right directory. Make sure you have the sound files named corectly, taunt death etc. If this doesn't help you tell us all the steps you did and we'll try and help.

:uhm: well, i first extracted the pk3 with winace to another folder, then i replaced the sounds in the sounds/chars/dash_rendar/misc- directory with some others from jedi, and some of sote game but all as mp3 and not longer then the default ones. so, i put them together a usual, as a pk3-file, but the model does not show up in the player-select-screen. and another thing is, that the pk3 file i'm having after "editing" is smaller then the old pk3! are there files in a pk3 which are invisible an can not be extracted by winace? :furious:

You must have not saved the models/players/dash_rendar with it I guess, or you left out the shader if it had a shader something was left out probably.
