Hey, I'm working on a cut scene for my "Tainted Glory" demo, but it's the first one I've done, so it's a bit of a crash course, since the only tutorial I've been able to find is a highly incomplete one for Elite Force. In that tutorial, it says that to show the main player, you have to spawn off a new NPC with the same skin. I managed to get this done: the only problem is, I have no idea how to get the newly spawned NPC's targetname! This means that I can't do anything with him, such as destroy him, or make him move. Does anyone know how to do that? Or, how to run a script that affects the newly spawned NPC as it's spawned? I tried EVERYTHING, even what it says to do in the Elite Force tutorial, and nothing works. Thanks for help in advance, guys!
Hey, I figured this part out, but even when I'm refeerencing my cut-scene-kyle, I can't make him drop his weapon! set(SET_WEAPON,WP_NONE) and set(SET_WEAPON,drop) aren't working! And I am doing affect(kyle1,FLUSH)... can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Do the unfinished cutscene in JKII, and while you're doing it, say something like (in the console) Npc kill kyle or whatever the guys name is and it'll say... killing NPC kyle named XXXXXX. (Replacing Xs with the actual name.) Then if you get stuck in the cutscene, (Open console) and just type quit.
