I have a lift, enclosed in an elevator shaft. Now, this lift moves up when someone gets close to it or when i put a switch there, but once at the destination how do you get a second switch to make it go down? Also, on one side of a door i have been having a similar problem. It will not allow me to link two swtiches to one door, one on each side. If you go through it, you cannot return. I dont know what to do.
Do dhey have the same 'targets' and 'targetnames' ????
Well, The upper toggle is linked (the control k thing) to the platform (target 2) and the lower toggle is also linked to the platform (target 2). They are both linked to the platform. When i complile and test it, the platform will not move at all now (before they were not linked but i read your post and changed the link). Both triggers are trigger multiple so its not that problem. I read something about a door being used as an elevator but how would you get the door to move more than just the length of the door? Can u use 'height' with doors as well? I just attempted to remove the switch on the ground, and now the platform dosnt move at all. Before it would move with just presence but now, nothing. Help?
It's true, that doors can be used as elevators. I think that they are better that lifts.
Just set an angle (up) and lip. Experime with different lips and you will have pretty platform
Thanks, Got it all working Correctly! Door woorked quite nicely, and much easier than a platform. Thanks
