I have made a few edited models and skins in milk shape 3D. What programs do I have to go through to get them into the game? Is it possible to do it through the jk2/3 model viewer?

Is that the only program that works? With 3dsmax would i be able to open my milk shape 3D files and export them to jk3? Also, what exactly is 3dsmax?

Anyway, yes. You just need to export them in a format that 3dsmax can import (3do, for example). If you can't have 3dsmax, give the file to someone that has 3dsmax... If you want you can try gmax, the tiny, smaller, more-limitated, free-version of 3dsmax...

Actually the best modelling program is Maya, it costs a lot more.... $15,000 + a year for the newest version. I don't think you can use it though. There is no .xsi plugin for it because it is so expensive your average modeler won't have it.
