Alright, I just got some awesome skins for Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and I realized... I don't know where to extract the files too! Can someone supply me with the name of the directory that the files have to be extracted in to? Thanks for the help and nice site.
Here's the name of the directory I currently put my mods in....
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\(your CnC_G directory)\Data\INI\MappedImages\TextureSize_512
Is this correct? Or is there another directory that I need to put all my files in?
put it under gamedata\base under the folder u installed jk2 if u didnt change the directory in the installition this should be c:\program files\(something with jk2 in the name dont rember the exact name)\gamedata\base it tells were 2 install in the readme so all ppl read the readmes if u hav such problems u dont need 2 post.:spank:
reading the readme-file is always a good idea...
as young Obi-Wan said, almost every mod, or skin that you download from jk2files or other sites has a readme.txt that has a section 'Installing' or 'Installation' ... or something like that...
Install your mods to: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData Install any pk3's to: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base
look kylek, link already explained the problem, what to do, ...., so why do you post kind of the same thing ?
I've noticed severla cases of this. Nice that you're trying to help, but plz read what oters posted first...
