How can I extract files from the asset files?

Just use Winzip/Winrar, open it, and click Extract, choose where u want to extract it to, and wait till its finished!

Litte word of advice, Pakscape is a much better program to use with .pk3 files.:agreed:

But with winzip/winrar u can extract it all in 1 time, with Pakscape u cant :agreed:

yes you can: select everything, make copy, and on desktop make paste. The good thing of winzip is that you can see all the files, but with pakscape you see the pk3 file as a folder with all subdirectories...Just an opinion:sleep: :sleep: :cya:

With winrar you also see the files in subdirectories.

The way i do it is rename it 2 a pk3 but i cant figure out how 2 change it back 2 a pk3 so ask a skinner.

i prefer using pakscape too when trying to extract certain files from the assets pk3s
