Is it possible to put trigger_hurt on a func_train. I am trying to have something that moves around in a map that cause damage on contact with a player. Example would be lava that moves up and down in a chamber or a forcefield that comes through a chamber. I know there has got to be away becuase I have seen similar things in other maps, but I am unable to get it to work in mine. I have tried connecting a trigger pain to a func_train with no luck. and I have tried adding dmg 200 to the actual brush with no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated

You can't add two functions togeather.
When the func_train hits the player ingame it should hurt him. You can probebly choose weather or not it does this, Hold shift and click on the func_train then press n.
Now this menu will have some ticks, tick the one that allows it to damage the player (if there is one) if not then thats all i can think of.
No there is no such flag.
you never know have an answer but you always reply, WHY?
if you are using radiant shift click the func_train, press n, type 'dmg' into the 'key' wordspace, and whatever you want it to hurt in the 'value' wordspace
hope it helped! and i hope it works! i haven't tested it yet
I f you read the post you will see that yes I did that. Thanks for the info anyway
OK this still doesn't work, does anyone else have ideas.
You can do it like they did in the Matrix Subway Station. Add a trigger_hurt key in Front of the Func_train so when it pushes you into it you start getting hurt. Or you can just add a trigger hurt along this trains entire path, i know it sounds lame but I dont think that the Game's engine (at least the MP one) is able to do what you want, add a dmg to a train.
Hope that one Helped
