wait......wait, do i import the root.xsi (kyle's) from the JK2editing tools RAVEN made to milkshape? then save it as an AUTOCAD(.DXF) file, then go to gmax and import the AUTOCAD file? but...the does bones look sooo solid and fat? it is like the kyle's model itself!!! man....i need real help now.....and fast! cause i have only 31 days before milkshape expires!!!! :( :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :)
you can import the root.xsi (.........if it works) file then merge the bits you want with your existing model(delete the mesh of kyle/stormtrooper). but i've got the same problem as scarecrow, my milkshape keeps dying when trying to import the xsi file, or loading the file thats on polycount. so i can't help any more than that! :( you had any luck yet scarecrow? i tried posting on the chumbalum site forums but didn't get 1 reply! :( i might try emailing mete.
Only problem is, as far as I know there isn't a import/export tool for JK2 for gmax yet, though I haven't checked in a while.. I think you can still get it working, but you have to do a bunch of other stuff.
hahaha, wew r all the same, aren't we? hahaha, 'cause my milkshape also go bonko when i import thr blah blah.xsi thingy!!! and gmax can import! file/then click on import!but i dunno how to export! hahahahahahaha!!! :) :(
