i need help With Activating And Deactivating Force Fields By Panels. I know it may seem easy to if u dont know its hard to get it to work i tried making The FF texture a static and get the panel to tunr it off by making it a func_button. but the bloomin thing dissappeared lol! so can u explain how to do it and its For MP maps not SP plz!

have you tried any mapping tutorials? they might be able to help you but if not ill try and get back to you on that.

TRied the tutorials but it is only seeming to work in single player i would rather press the use key to do it rather than walk upto it.

i cant seem to see func_wall adn also cant find player_use on gtk

Yes i have but Jk2 wont compile on xp! it used to have all that but those options disappeared. any good tutorial sites except ridesals and the 1 where u dl everything?

wish i could askk worr sonn or someone...

well u dont need to do the map in the same one u compile it with so if u used jk2 radiant to do the force field and then used gtk to sompile it that might work:D

Well i got the think to weork mostly i pres the button and the forcefiled comes down as i want....but it goes back up after a few seconds! how can i make it stay there untill pressed again?

ud most likely need two buttons and youd have to program the force field do disable and not renable until the secnd one is pressed however im not sure what the cmds are for that sry:(

Better news! i get it to come down...as the FF is a func_static i think and i press the button adn it come down..but i when i press the switch again i i wont go back up. I set the FF to start off could that be whY?
