Okay, I think I really screwed up here.
I made a waterfall (brush for the falls, textured on both sides with yavin's waterfall texture). Looks great, but it's solid, and I thought it'd be neat to have it nonsolid, like the river the falls flows into. So, I select the brush in Radient, make it nonsolid (I think it's ctrl+u), and the brush DISAPPEARS! Completely! I can't even select it in Radient! Now, it's not a total loss... when I compile, the falls are still there IN THE GAME, but they are STILL solid!
My first problem is: How do I make the brush selectable again in Radient?
My second is: How do I make it nonsolid???
I believe the proper way would be do to the same thing you did with your river. Place the brush, and apply a caulk_nonsolid texture to it, then texture the faces you need with the waterfall. that should do the trick
Can we make non solid walls by the same way?
in MP nonsolid becomes just a caulk if you apply caulk nonsolid at one or both sides
belive me i found it out the hard way
No, you'll need to apply nodraw, not caulk.
Also, stop using Jk2radiant and use GTK, kakdammit.
and why not using JK2 radiant? what does it change?
Personaly (IMO) i've used both and I can say this use JK2 Radiant for JK2 and GTK for JKA. It's quite a simple concept for some ... and stop dissing JK2 Radiant these still nothing wrong with it!
