well, I know how to make demos, not movies like mpegs, but I know how to do demos.

in console type /record

it'll tell you you need to turn something on, I forget what it is, but console tells you. so turn it on

then do /record again and start doing what ever you want to record!

this will record everything you see in your window, so if you're making a movie I advise you get a camera man or something.

but this lags a lot if there's a lot of people

Well, you need a sequence of images/ pictures in tga format. They must be 512 x 512 or 256 x 256. You have to call all of them with the same name before a number (first frame - Cin01.tga , second frame - Cin02.tga, and so on). Then you must write a param file, basically a text file important for compiling. Remember that the cinematic run on 30 FPS, then for 1 sec of cinematic you need to put 30 TGAs. Really hard isn't it??:-D :-D :fistpunch: ). Anyway there's a tutorial on ROQ files (this is the movie format) in one of the two JK2Editingtools. Look for them in JK2files...

But in the stating movie (with the scroling text), it isn't like that, all of the text in there is one tga file, and is easily changed.
