AutoCept do you know how i can choose another saber color for the model i'm using in SP?
And something else: I have some old savegames and when i load one of them with my new model the saber gets in a weird unuseable position. Is it because of the model or because of the old save? When i use kyle i can play those saved games fine.
One more question: When i view the pk3 of other SP mods where kyle is replaced i see much more files in the models/kyle directory than just model_default.skin and model.glm. Is it sometimes nessecary to put more files in that dir?
Can change saber by bring down the console(shift ~ ) and typing "devmap" to turn on cheats then "sabercolor (color)" without quotes.
It's because of the old save.
Those are for people who haven't downloaded the orginal file, so they need the .jpgs with the SP replacement.
Is the saber color change only possible with that cheat? It would be nice if i could set it in the pk3.
You could open your assets0.pk3 copy the saber color files and rename the blue saber to what you want it to be, but it's probably easyer with cheats.
Can you tell me in what dir i can set the saber color in assets0? And is it possible that i make those same dirs in my pk3 so i don't have to overwrite my assets0 file?
With the new Episode 1 models, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon and Mace Windu, how come they don't work right in a character convesion for sp? They are automatically robed, which i don't want and i only have the model_default.skin and model.glm files in the pk3. Also when i rename the blue skin to model_default.skin the same grey robe is on it. When i rename model_robed.skin to model_default.skin i get a robed version with the right color. But i can't seem to get it unrobed. I always get that grey robe.
Gfx/effects/sabers. That is where the saber blades and glows and blur Jpegs are stored. If you copy the directory and your edited Jpegs into another .pk3 it will overight the original in the game untill you delete the new .pk3.
Also the grey robe problem, as far as i know, thats a shader probm, if you bring down the console it should say in yellow something about shader missing. Hope I helped.
You should have a file called something like "model_default.surf" or "model_unrobed.surf" something like that in the episode 1 model's .pk3 file, copy it and put it in the SP replacement pk3. But be sure that it has the same name as the model_default.skin
Example: model_default.skin would have a .surf file of model_default.surf model_unrobed.skin would have a .surf called model_unrobed.surf Just make sure they have the same name.

I have the bot of a Darth Maul skin, but how do I make it have a double-bladed lightsaber? And when I replaced Desann with Maul in SP, how do I replace his sader with a double-bladed saber too?
You can't have a dual-bladed saber in SP. Not sure how to do it on the bot, never gotten around to figuring it out.

of the battle droid sub I want to know if Auto Cept could fix this skin I maid called funky fett. its for my clan the reborn clan. so many other clans mascots are reborns so I dicided to make my own. I zipped it up into a pk3 butt it never worked . try to fix it someone. I can put it back into a pk3 once its fixed. AND DONT CALL IT YOUR OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
