How do you make a saber hilt? I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and I have no tools. Any help is vastly appreciated :(

First: download the SDK or GDK (I forgot which one its called) for JKII. It's on any file site. (It stands for Software Development Kit or Game Development Kit) after that there are two ways to do it, one the old way which you just replace Kyle's saber with another skin, but the new one should be compatible the the mods, and i don't know how to do that. Oh, and you should probably download pakscape or Winrar because you can see files to open the pk3s. Yeah, you can use winzip but the other programs let you see the directory structure and make it MUCH EASIER!!!

I d/l the SDK from JK2Files.com, and I can use Windows XP to open those kind of files cuz all u need to do is put a .zip after the .pk3 or whatever file and it opens up. If you wanna know, all I'm concerned about is changing Kyle's lightsaber hilt. Is that it? Now what do I do? BTW, if I sound ignorant, it's because I am :D .

ell, firstoff ou need to have ome good modeling tools like 3D studio Max, Gmax, or milkshape. Theese tools take alot of getting used too, so unless you are really dedicated at it i would suggest not trying and asking someone else. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!: THIS IS KINDA HARD!!!!!!! ESPICIALLY SKINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE LOTS OF SPARE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SAVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
