When I try to insert model into my map (program JK2Radiant - right cilck=>misc=>misc model, and then browse for it), I get this message:
Unable to open the file "C:/games/lucasarts/star wars jk ii jedi outcast/gamedata/base/models/map_objects/ bespin/statue.md3",
(Further errors from this will be ignored during the rest of this edit session)
Where I was wrong? I installed JK2Radiant into my gamedata folder (as default) and it should be all set for the Jedi Knight II. The map is working fine but there are no models in it. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!
PS: Pro-Filer is the best! Thanks man!
Many modders install their games to a shorter game path ex. C:jedi/gamedata because DOS programs have problems with folders with spaces and more than 8 characters. This may not be the problem, but it will certainly ensure that any of the errors are not merely MS-DOS related.
Thanks Yoda. As you sad it's not a problem but thanks anyway.
magnetixxx, you saved me! Thanks man!

Yes, his tutorials are realy amazing!
Hey mag, do you know something about program for converting BSP file to MAP. Where can I find it?:D
I don't believe there is a BSP decompiler for JK2 type BSP's. There is one I've seen for Quake3 but that actually uses a different BSP format.
Yes, I have one for Q3, but it doesn't work on JK2 type BSP. And I think that should not be too dificult to configure it for JK2 (format is similar). If anyone knows something about that, please tell me.
