Hey heres the JC v1.0 in the works I think it looks better then the first one did I hope you guys like how its going I am going to try to make the glasses 3 dementional I'll do the best I can I am also gonna try to fix the collar hope you like this better. Also anyone who can tell me how to import a file as a Glm with MilkShape it would be apprecitated.
to import a glm go to the import menu and click ghoul 2 model glm or whatever it says...it says ghoul2
to export a file as glm
find where theres a little submenu that says "Quake III Arena"...go into that submenu and you can generate the control file...then export as md3 into the same folder as the control file with the same name
youll have to open up the control file and change the filenames of the skin(s).
then export as md3 again so it can refresh itself.
now create subfolders in there called /models/players/model
stick the skins in there according to your control file. now open the md3 in md3view(included in the SDK) and export as glm...
tell me if it sounds too complicated ill try to write it simpler
No its sound relativly easy but I cannot find the submenu where is it in milkshape.
I am still having errors about it not finding the skin.tga and I changed the control file.
ok now I know why I had the errors but where do I put the models/players/model folder.
Ok I need this help to finish it I open it after I altered the .qc file and I made those folders but it still won't read it still says cannot find models/players/model/skin.tga I need some help here.

I don't think you can use md3view to create working player models because it doesn't add the animations to the model, I think that the result would be a player model with the liveliness of a box. Check "export as *.glm" for more explanation.
Well I am still in need of help so if anyone can help me please be letting me know thanks see ya lata. p.s. The problem is still the same the skin.tga
ok when you open it in md3view it should say something like cannot find skin.tga.
go into the folder for the model and make folders called models/players/model and put skin.tga in there and try opening it in md3view again.
i had to figure all this on my own, so im probably wrong.
