I was trying to make a Majin Buu skin but I found that it really would not work because he is just too different. So I need a model. This is not a model request, I just need to know something. I found a Majin Buu model for Quake 3 and I know that it is possible to convert things from Quake 3 into Jedi Knight 2 because they use the same engine, what I do not know is HOW you would do this. If anyone can either tell me how to do this or do it for me that would  thanks to anyone who can help!

There's already one in progress.

Unless you have $2,500 to purchase 3ds max your outta luck, unless someone with 3ds max is willing to weight your model. But they have to be interested in it.

Maybe you can try with Gmax. It's program like 3ds max (and from the same distributer), only has less of options and it's totally free. Find it here: http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/

You "can" you use Gmax, but it doesn't have the root.xsi import and export and you absolutely need those in order to complete your model. Milkshape has the xsi import and export, but it doesn't import the jk2skeleton and you need the exact skeleton, you just can't throw together your own.
