Alright... my map is completely finished, and up until this point, going into single player mode and looking it over has worked just fine... but now, for some reason it screwed up. Now everything is way too bright and I didn't even change a thing. My skybox doesn't give off light, and I've even resorted to deleting all of my light entities... nothing has worked. I have been trying different things for the last 6 hours and have hd no luck. Please, if anyone has had this problem before or knows how to correct it, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. My worldspawn entity has nothing extra in it as well... I have no idea what has happened. Like I said- it was fine, now it is not.

thanks for your help

try this :

type

r_gamma 1

in console

with r_gamma you control how bright your JK2 game is.

And I don't think your map is screwed up

r_gamma 1 is the normal brightness in Jedi Knight II

all the r_gamma 1 thing was make the map brighter because I had it set lower than normal. it's like every wall in my map is giving off it's own light. the entire map is bright, not just some surfaces. the only shadow in the map is the one under my player's feet... I don't know what to do, because I certainly didn't make it this way, and it worked correctly before. I've been spending the last 2 weeks on this map, and many, many hours, I'd hate to have to scrap it...
