Is there anyway that I can make my own personal skin without all the fancy hardware and software? All I have is the game itself. My computer is a 56K modem dial-up system. If there is a way, please give me instructions. If not, then what would I have to buy or download? I can't get anyone to make one for me, so I guess I'll do it myself. Thanks.

you don't need much to make a skin

making a GOOD skin, that's a diferent story

all you need is

1. an image editing program (ms paint is the ultimate lowest, but it works)

2. some sort of file browser (windows explorer/ my computer do fine)

3. a program that can open up pk3s (winzip works- though it's harder to set up)

you extract the files out of assets0.pk3 (pakscape works wonders... i don't know the site though :( ) into gamedata/base

so you have [game location]/jedi knight ii jedi outcast/gamedata/base/models/players/skin_name

then edit the pictures and .skin if needed and view (with an unpure server)

there's a tutorial over at jediknightii.net, sorry if my little run-down isn't good enough :\
