Ok first you need a small program called pakscape you can get it here chose where you want to download it from.:)

Once you have installed pakscape. click on your "LucasArts" icon then click on "Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast" then "GameData" and then "base". right click on the assets0.pk3 file and select "open with..." find pakscape and a whole lot of files should come up.:)

Now follow the path models/weapons2/saber and copy the file "saber.jpg"(this is just if you want to skin it if you want to model copy the rest of the files in with it) Now past it in your gamedata directory (you will have to minimise pakscape). Now create a file named models and in that file another named weapons2 and in that one a third named saber and in that paste your saber.jpg. Modify the saber.jpg and then go back to your models folder you made. right click on it and select send to.. then "Compress (zipped) folder".:)

Select the zipped folder and go to properies and rename it to "saber*name.pk3" it should then create a .pk3 file. now make a folder "saber*name and put your pk3 in it. Your now ready to play with your saber.

If you cant get the renaming .pk3 thing to work just copy an already made pk3 delete it and put you model in it. Make sure you rename your pk3 though.:)

Hope that helped and welcome to the boards:p If you need any help or dont understand anything I am willing to help. Or look at my saber that I will atach and open it with .pk3 and see what I have done.

Oh please do..

1.You need a modeling program go here http://boards.ioerror.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5669

2. I am not a modeler and know very little so you will probably need a tut. I sorry I dont have a link. Some else please help me out...

3.You will need to edit (i am guessing here) the 'saber_w.gml' for the hilt and the 'saber_w.md3' and 'saber_w_1.md3' for the blade.

4. I think you should really ask a modeler I will try asking around.

5. hope that helped. Oh and when you are finished editing the the model just put the files in with the 'saber.jpg'

6. I never met a Dutch guy who likes obiwan either lol
