In jk2radiant, you can't load a model from the window that pops up when you select misc_model. Do this: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc102lsn5.html

and it should work.

Bit thick at moment where mapping is concerned...

Could you tell me how to make the misc_model actually solid in game, I've tried the tutorial mentioned in this thread and tried the make solid bit from tool bar but I can still walk through them in the game.

Suggestions?

Yes, you have to use the systems/physics_clip shader. BAsicaly place the model where you want it and creat a brush or brushes out of physics clip on top of it. Go to the link mentioned earlier in this thread at Rich Diesels tutorial site and it will explain it to you. A handy thing to know is that things like the x wing, tie fighter, Imperial Shuttle and a few other things already have the clips brushes ingame in the prefab folder. For the x-wing, look for the prefab called x-wing physics. The others are similar. Theres even an ATST physics prefab there!
