*sigh*... Delete JK2Radiant and SOF2MAP from your harddisk, then get GTK at www.qeradiant.coim .. Go to files, then download selector. I actually can't believe people still use JK2Radiant to make maps. Bah.

O..k... Can you at least post the compile line then?

Oh, and have you been using complex patch meshes?

Wow Gothix you remind me alot of t-fighter pilot..........Anyway the issue can be casued by a few things unfortunately everything I have done to solve it hasn't worked excpet going back to the last working copy.

The first thing that can cause this is grouped entities why I have no idea but select the whole map and ungroup...

Another thing is detail brushes... not enough of them. try making everything besides the void touching wall a detail brush.

As I siad niether thing solved it for me yet.. but that is the advice I recievd from everyone else in the other forums. When you come in here for advice.. give plenty of detail about the problem and make sure you mention that you are using gtk radiant becuase you will waste a few days just explaining that yes you are using gtk radaint and not jk2 radaint.

THAT is the most STUPID comment EVER. it causes your whole map to be rendered all the time, and decreases framerate - TREMENDOUSLY. Incase you're gonna brag about "RichDiesal claiming that it's good" - RichDiesal is wrong. Yes, even he is human, and therefore makes mistakes.

If you want to know how it DOES work, look here: http://www.nibsworld.com/rtcw/tutorial_detail_and_hint_brushes_part1.shtml It's a bit technical, but it is true - Unlike RichDiesal's tutorial.
