Basically all I want is a tail added to one of the original models. Preferably the Jedi Trainer model. It has to be a lizard type tail. A little fatter than your fist. And about medium-long length. JK2 compatible of course. It does not have to be textured as I plan, on redoing the skin almost completely, but I would like it animated. I have no where near enough knowledge to do this part.
And just so that no one flames me: Yes, I do know, to an extent, how much work would go into this thing, because of animation, etc. It really isn't all that simple, but hopefully simpler than some other things, especially for an old pro at this.
I think that nobodsy would animate it. But static tail is possible. Now you shall ask some modellers (look for them at www.jk3files.com)
No, that would be way too hard, plus it really wouldn't be worth it.
pladams9but hopefully simpler than some other things
Well, all right, you call simple to make a new animation but you dont know that you cant modify the _humanoid.gla file (wich has the animations). So you are asking to do a new humanoid.gla (17000 frames) file also with some new frames dedicated to the movement of a tail...I hope you see that doing a tail without move is hipersimpler than what you ask
Yes, I didn't know you couldn't simply add an animation. But taking MeusH's suggestion I have contacted a modeller asking for a static tail added to one of his models, and I'm waiting for a reply.
