1.http://mapping.jediknightii.net/tutorials.htm This tut has a great section for making skyboxes in it, that's where I learned how to do em.

2.This is also explained in the tut.

3.For the Infinite Fall Animation, you draw a brush a ways above the floor, and across the room, then right click and select trigger_hurt from the trigger menu, now cover that brush with the system/trigger texture. last open the entities menu (N) key= dmg value= -1.

Also if you want to make it so you don't hear yourself hit the bottom, you just make a brush on the bottom of the hole and use system/cushion texture on it.

4.http://www.massassi.net/tutorials/jo_elevator Try this elevator tut out, he also has a script ther for it too.

5. I have no idea to that one, sry.

what do u mean a ways above the floor? do u mean like the skybox and have it surround the level or just a flat part that goes out in all directions and is way below the level?

what format is the map in is it a multiplayer or single player? If you BSp d it it should be located under base/maps if so simply open up SINGLE player and you can test it from there. To open up in multiplayer you willl have to do all sorts of stuff but if you just want to test it then i suggest just opening it in single player thats what i do.

Have u got the .map file so i cn look? or the bsp

All you have to do to test in MP is in the Create A Server screen, go under advanced settings and turn pure server off, then in the game type /devmap yourmapname

I haven't tried to make any elevators yet, so I have no idea how to get em to work, I've been texturing for 3 days, so I haven't gotten to it yet, but if I figure it out I'll let you know what I did.
