Was the door the only thing that did not update ? Are you using jk2radiant or gtkradiant ?

hey its GhostSnipe just a new account. Im using jk2radiant and i think u mean is the door the only think i updated. If so yes it is the only thing i did i just put in a door to the next room (which was already built just no door) and compiled and loaded and nothing had changed since the last time.....in other words no door

Erm I'm giving a lot of advice today, and I must warn you I really have no clue what I'm talking about, but still I feel compelled to help since it happened to me once. Ok what I would do is: first, just add something else that is simple to it and see if it is there when you compile. Otherwise secondly, delete the bsp it made in your maps folder and run the bsp command again to see if it creates a new one. If it doesn't then that's why the map didn't update. Then third, save your map as something different and then run the bsp command (and again look to see if it made a bsp or not). If that all fails, get gtk radiant, and use the other compiler. It seems slower, but it doesn't produce so many errors for me, and also it gives bug reports telling you what you've done wrong etc. And if none of that helps, well at least this serves as a bump.

Checkto make sure you can view entities, cause i'm pretty sure u can disable that. It might have been just that you accidentally hit a key that hid all entities or func_ things =). Check the keyboard shortcuts, ya never know it could be because of something like that :).
