I've made textures in .jpg format, I can see them in Radiant. (I'm loading them by Texture menu) When I'm compiling a map, in first part (BSP) and third (Lighting) there is a message:
"Couldn't find image for shader textures/map/wall2"
In game i see grey-white squares.
What's the problem? How can I fix it?

it may be that it needs to be a .tga i dont know tho.
are they the right size ?? they can only be x2 dimensions like 4 x 4, 2 x 8, 512 x 128, 1024x8, 32 x 16 etc.

The texture scale is:2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024. I had the same problem, if the scale (in pixels) is not a combination of the above mentioned(256X256, or 1024X128, ect.) It will show up in radiant, but when you try to open the map to play, you will get an error.
yeah, thats exactly what I meant
Thanx a lot !!! (I'm beginning mapper)
Hey, do you know how many post do I have to send to have an additional avatar?
you mean like I have a saber under my name, just go to your UserCP, then to usergroups and join a group and select the option that it shows your group rank
OK. So it works in game, but...
In Radiant I see one big texture (It's a photo) - I've scaled it by using "texture inspector"
But in Jedi Academy there is a lot of small pics.
What is that?
!! I want only one, big picture !!
you must stretch it look here: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc101lsn3.html scroll down a bit and you'll see it there
I've already done it!!! :furious:
In radiant it looks great (stretched) but in game it's getting stretched more and more, so i see LOT of pics.
What is it
