1. Shift + ctrl + click

2. It's a system shader, I think it's called slippery.

3. I don't know.

4. It's a fx-file, wich I can't use.

Take a look at this: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/

3. Select any wall in your map and press N . This should bring up your worldspawn entity info, its pretty self explanitory from there but heres an example what to type in

Music Music/Yavin_temple/etc_etc.mp3 (You'll find all the music files in assets0.pk3 so dont worry)

When done press N again and deselect the wall, compile it and hey presto, a bit of game music in your map

Simple innit

For the fire make an fx_runner Press 'n' while the fx_runner is selected.

Put the follow values at the bottom:

Key: fxFile value: effects/env/fire.efx

There is no acual way, it will always be created with a light entity but you can make the illusion of an object making the light for example you can use the wall light panel texture and put a light entity near it, or if you want a more ancient look you can place a fire somewhere and put an orange light with style 5 set and know you have the illusion of the light beig created by the crackling fire.(I personally like to put the fire on a torch map model a friend made me.

Select the light, press 'n' and put

Key: light Value: ### 300 is the default I think.. so play around with it :)

For the teleporter are you using a target_location? Make sure it's not target_position...

Man my maps rely on teleporters to get around. Make a brush and texture it with system trigger. Then you are gonna need to make a location so go to where you want to be teleported and place a target posistion (no location) a posistion, next you are gonna wanna make that trigger brush that you made earlier into a trigger_telepoprt. Now select the trigger then the target_posistion in that order and press ctrl+k to link them together. Now to make it more fun instead of using just an invisible area the teleports you, you can get fancy like me and make some brushes that make up a small box, then more fun add a colored light with intensity of like 150, and style of like 5 then use the fx_runner to make a beam of light(do this just like you made fire but it will be this path instead effects\env\beam.efx and place that in the middle of your teleport now this may be a lot of brushes and entities in one area but when you get into creating massive ffa maps it only gets worse, here is what my teleporters look like. Sorry this is the best screen of a teleporter I have in my screenshot database look all the way to the right it is beatiful isnt it.
