Can someone in here show me a jedi knight 2 map with realistic water? Can I acheive something as realistic as the water in morrowind with the jedi Knight II/Quake III engine?

What do you mean by realistic water? if you just want water you can swim in its easy, but, if you want water with waves it would be a bit harder.

What I mean is a realistic water shader. Something like the water in Unreal 2 or Morrowind. Water thats reflective.

As a veteran user, and JKO custom map downloader (and player) I can say absolutely, that you will not find a realistic water shader like Unreal 2 or Morrowind. Neither so far, is there anything remotely resembling what you want in JKA.

The type of shader you are looking for usually has such a drastic effect on the fps in a map or in game when the extra fps can be used elsewhere for other eye candy.

Many graphic card demos can show u the effect you want " Gosh just look at what this model can do and its only costs this..."

In practise you hardly ever see in game effects like this.

This is just an idea: why don't you do a shader? I know that said like this sounds noob but wait. I don't remember the command right now, but you can make a sequence to play. Just look for some good screens (indeed of the original crappy one) and use that shader. I agree with TrentAbru about 1 thing: there probably can be no waves...
