I need help changing saber stances to different ones. I want to change certain stances to specific ones I've used on stance mods, without using the whole mod. Please someone help!!

Maybe this can be done with altering anim.cfg... And the animation (.gla) file from the mod which's stances you are wishing to use. You won't be able to play ovia multiplayer with your unique animations - unless you make that as a mod, but it would be plagiat.

I would do it but i am really buisy about to have a clan match but i will suggest opening the stance mod E.G. jedi plus:

Open the mod folder and rename the .pk3 to .zip fish in the folders for the .qvm file and drag it out now make a new .zip file and call it "stance" drag the .qvm into stance.zip and rename it to stance.pk3

Now put it into base and it should work.

Good luck

Just open the assets0.pk3 with pakscape and saerch in models\players\_humanoid\animations.cfg and open it with notepad. Search for: -BOTH_SABERFASTSTANCE -BOTH_SABERSLOWSTANCE -BOTH_STAND2 These three are the relatively blue, red and yellow stances. Next to the name there is a number. It is the first frame that the animation plays. For the frame you must open the .GLM (not .gla you can't even open it...) file model with modview. Then the next number is the number of frames the animation must play (not the difference.Ex.: first frame 5601. End of the animation 5655. Number of frames to play 55 -not 54!!!).The next number can be only 0 (loop effect) or -1 (played once). The last number is the speed the animations plays (for the stances no matter)...:dropsjar: :dropsjar: :dropsjar: :dropsjar:

Another thing, I know I started this thread for saber animations, but I'm having alot of trouble with saber colors, as well, specifically Kyle's saber. I've tried just about everything, including changing the autoexec.cfg file, but nothing seems to work. I'm just looking for a way that I can change the SP saber color so that it will start when the game starts, and it will be seen in the cut scenes.

One more thing, in the animations.cfg file, which one is the backstab file?

If you mean the backstab of the blue stance i think it is BOTH_BACKSTAB, but I'm not sure just take the entire folder of a model (Ex.: assets0.pk3:Models\players\kyle) and put it in a same directory (Ex.: C:\games\JK2\Tools\models\players\kyle). Now put the _humanoid folder in models\players and open model.glm with modvew now you will see an option in the white field: sequences. if you doubleclick there you will find all the names of the animations with the first frame, the last frame and the number of frames to play. Just play the animations and search for the backstab.:D :D :D :fistpunch:
